The Phoenix Coyotes, concessionaire Aramark and the NHL are bringing something unique to jobing.com Arena: food ordering and delivery from a smartphone, allowing fans to bypass concessions lines.

The Phoenix Coyotes are the first NHL team to offer a venue-wide solution that allows every fan from any seat in the arena to use the service; earlier the Round Rock Express and Philadelphia Phillies introduced it in their ballparks. Bypass Lane will be available for all Jobing.com Arena events.

"Jobing.com Arena is truly state-of-the-art and this addition to our service offerings is a great way to incorporate technology to improve the guest experience," Jobing.com Arena General Manager Jim Foss said. "From Coyotes games to family shows to concerts, this added convenience will allow our guests to keep their attention on the entertainment while still enjoying the full event experience."

Bypass Lane, an Austin-based company, is the innovative team behind the technology. By navigating to www.BypassLane.com on their smartphones (iPhone, Android, Blackberry OS6, Dell mobile devices, Palm mobile devices among others), fans can view the full food and drink menus of select concessions stands in the vicinity of their seats.

Fans then place their order and pay with a credit card using Bypass' secure payment platform. A text message is sent to the fan when their order is ready for pickup from the nearest Bypass Lane, helping them get back to their seat in short order.
