Senior Developer

Summary:

  • Location: Austin, Texas (Central)
  • Job Type: full-time
  • Education Level: Computer Science degree (or equivalent engineering)
  • Experience: 5+ years coding, preferably with hands on experience with Ruby on Rails

About the Job:

This full time software engineer will work on Bypass’ server-side application, be responsible for creating front- end web-based applications, supporting back-end modules, and development on mobile platforms. The successful candidate is someone who enjoys software designing, coding and brainstorming effective and scalable business solutions. You will have real ownership over product roadmap decisions and feature development.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • participating in a small team designing and developing in: Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and mobile platforms
  • software development including: estimating, technical specifications, coding, source control and unit testing
  • participating in: design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, bug triage, and functional walkthroughs
